Roles have included business advisor, leadership, command, operations, planning, human resources, change management, training, logistics and administration. Rod has extensive board experience including Rural Financial Counselling Services, aged care, small business, national and NSW industry training bodies, a professional association, the Boer War Memorial Committee, Industry Representative Committees and NSW Government Training Committees. Jessica Brown is a degree qualified Marketing and Public Relations professional with many years experience in providing strategic marketing and policy advice to a wide range of corporate, government and non-government entities. She moved from Sydney to the Macquarie Valley in 2002 and lives in Narromine with her husband and two young sons. She has previous Board experience having served for five years with the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and is currently the Vice Chair of the RFCS NSW - Central West. She has an extensive network throughout the region and currently works for the Central West Catchment Management Authority in a water policy role. |

Rae Craft is a member of the Board of the Rural Financial Counselling Service - Central West. Rae has also been a member of the Macquarie Rural Advisory Service committee since 2001. She has an extensive rural background, being an active partner in the family farming business for 30 years. Rae is also currently employed in a book retail business and has worked previously as an Employment Officer in Dubbo for a number of years. As the current Secretary/ Treasurer of the local Bushfire Brigade Rae has also volunteered for the Executive in various local volunteer organisations. |

Janice has worked in public relations, advertising, merchandising and the hospitality industry. After attaining the Cordon Bleu Certificate from Cordon Bleu, London Janice travelled extensively and worked and managed hotels and motels with her husband before moving to Dubbo in NSW and purchasing a rural property. For over 30 years Janice has successfully managed a small farming enterprise with her husband outside Dubbo. For 10 years until December 2008 she was a partner and part owner of a Financial Planning Business in Dubbo. Janice's experience includes being actively involved with the Country Women's Association of NSW for over 35 years, Group President and Representative on State Executive and she has held numerous positions at State and local levels.

Vern is a practicing Public Account and the Principal and Sole Director of Professional Business Solutions Pty Ltd, Business Advisers and Tax Agents. Over the past 30 years Vern has been in Public Accounting Practice both for employers and, principally, in his own right providing services to small to medium business enterprises of a wide variety of vocations. For the past 20 years those services included pastoralists of the Western Division of NSW and the "Corner Country". In 2002 Vern opened an office in Broken Hill providing services which include family structuring, succession planning, taxation planning and management financial account preparation for a wide variety of users corporate secretarial management, business advice including buying and selling of small to medium businesses, management of audit projects, report production for government agencies, small to medium superannuation fund accounting and audit, Capital Gains Tax advising and general business advice. During the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax, Vern's business was subcontracted by NSW Farmer's Federation Inc. to work intensively with over twenty farming groups in the Western Lands Division instructing on the workings of the GST and bookkeeping procedures to manager business obligations under the Act. Vern was a director of the Wentworth Balranald Farm Fight-back Committee Inc which merged with RFCS-CW in 2008. He has also held the Treasury position on the Sudden Infant Death Research Foundation Inc. and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Association (SA) Inc. |
